"Peace is not the absence of war, but the presence of God in our hearts..."
-excerpt from the exhortation of the Rev Jay-Ar Piolino during the Morning Worship September 24, 2017.

In our journey of faith, it does not mean that everything would be well. However, we are enjoying peace within us despite all the troubles we are facing because we know that God will never forsake us.
September marks our celebration of the Christian Education Month. This year’s theme is “Therefore Go: Be a Peacemaker!” based on the gospel lesson in Matthew 5:1-12.
Our celebration this year aims to have a joyous celebration of God’s love, and peace in our midst, and to underscore God’s call for Christians to become peacemakers in the world.
How can we become peacemakers in the world full of dissension and war? The message of life for the entire month of September has tackled three important points for us: “Being at Peace with God” on the first Sunday, “Peace in the Family” on the second Sunday, and “Camaraderie in the Church to be a vital congregation” on the third. Then, finally on the fourth comes the challenge to go and become peacemakers in the world, which our children have highlighted with a special musical presentation of the song “Heal the World” popularized by Michael Jackson. The song speaks about the call to make the world a better place to live, by having listening ears and loving hands responding to the cries of the people in need around us.
God calls us to a life that exudes the peace of God not only with our words but also with our actions. How can we be a peacemaker today
